Summer Striper Fishing - Tennessee River

2008 schedule - July 7th thru August 20th

           Summer striper fishing takes place on the Tennessee River on the west side of Knoxville. These fish will average 10 to 25 lbs with occaisional 30 lbers caught. Fishing is usually very consistent and numbers of fish ( 10 to sometimes 50+ per day) can be expected. I usually split the day and fish about 4 hours in the morning and 4 in the late afternoon your schedule permitting. Great trips for anybody and a short drive to the Smokey Mountain ( Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge).

TypicalKeKen & Robert (above photos) fished with me two and one half days in 08 and boated 115 stripers up to 25 lbs. Typical summertime catch.
